    Does Hagar the Horrible do story arcs? I didn't think that they normally do. If so, this would be a great lead-in to a week of tired jokes about trying to get into fancy restaurants, snotty maitre d's, waitresses, undercooked goats, the portions these days, etc.

    As it is, though, I think they kind of forgot the punchline. If it had said, for example
    "I thought you'd like to take me out for dinner....

    Or I can serve you your little French girlfriend's head on a pike!"

    That would have at least gotten a laugh out of me, for being unexpected, if nothing else.
