Curtis: Koff! Koff! Oops!

The only way this comic would make any sense is if Curtis does all of his schoolwork on a typewriter.

This would be somewhat surprising, but easily explained by his family's (apparently even more severe and hilarious!) financial troubles.

  1. Or it could be handwritten, like most fifth grader's homework. (unless times have really changed that much)

  2. Hmm, well I assumed that since it was a report, as opposed to a worksheet or something, that it would be typed. But I didn't realize that Curtis was only in fifth grade, either. So you might be right about that.

Do I have any readers with kids around Curtis' age? Do they type their reports or not?
