Didn't you just post an installment of the execrable Drabble with basically the same punchline? Why is opera always the whipping boy in this? Considering it is already like 1/1000 of a % as popular as any form of popular music, why not cut opera some slack? Isn't it about time to give Andrew Lloyd Webber some of this treatment? I'm sure that for every wife that wants to go to the opera, there are 500 who want to go see Cats.
