Every single character in Get Fuzzy talks differently than every other character in Get Fuzzy. Likewise, every relationship between any two characters is different than every other relationship. As today's comic shows, this goes for the bit characters too.

I think that's because they are characters rather than caricatures. Or, as we used to say back in Lit. class, they are three-dimensional. This is one of the consistently best-written strips out there right now. You can tell that he really puts care into the writing, it isn't just dashed off.
