Rudy Park: See? We don't need a professional writer!

This would all make more sense if Darrin Bell wasn't a professional writer himself. But it's still an improvement over what Rudy Park usually gives us.

Rudy Park: Give me a chance, people!

Given that the comic strip Darrin Bell writes is much better than Rudy Park, I see no reason why the next week should be anything other than a huge improvement.

While my general feelings on Rudy Park should be pretty well established by now, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this particular, really quite touching comic.

Rudy Park: I've got to capatalize on America's fascination with vampires.

This Rudy Park is noteworthy for being somewhat amusing. It's never done that before.

I also have to give it credit for tackling what is perhaps the most important and perplexing issue of our time: Vampires--what the fuck?

Rudy Park: We know. It's not funny. Seriously. We know.

Actually, this is just as funny as any other Rudy Park. And far less annoying. The first three panels, anyway.

Rudy Park: It's not funny anymore.

Also not funny anymore? Rudy Park. But then, it never was.

Rudy Park and Non Sequitur: You may commence with not bothering to twitter or learn anything more about it.

I know it's an easy joke and exists on the demon Internet and is solely responsible for the decline of civilization and all that, but one would think that newspaper cartoonists would be more hesitant to mock Twitter given that the medium in which they work is defined in large part by its stringent length limitations.
